The Rhubarb Food Co-op based in Randwick, NSW is the philanthropic vision of two women who thought that better health and happiness should be encouraged everywhere.  The co-op promotes good health and well-being within the community. It does this by providing locally sourced food, fresh fruit and vegetables, and other dry goods to the local community at cost prices and by encouraging people to engage and participate.

The co-op is managed using FileMaker Pro databases running on FileMaker Server. The web site is built with WordPress. Custom-built Python web pages provide an online ordering system. The management committee and responsible volunteers control day to day operations using FileMaker Go on their iPhones and iPads. For those that don't have iOS devices, a mix of Python and PHP web pages provide web access to various reports needed by volunteer staff and suppliers.
